YASSS, I’m getting back on track. And not just because of my own workout schedule, but because of Cuerpo. My functional training studio. I’ve been busy with my new job lately, and I lost track a bit. I’m a frequent runner and thai-box girl, but I really was in need of some advise on how to train your body in a healthy way, and how to train for the right area’s. Some of you may not know functional training, so here’s a little word about it. Functional training means in general, going back to basics. No complicated machines or lifting tools, just exercises for each level. Why is it so effective? Because you will train not only one muscle group in particular, you’ll train each area by doing movements. Movements that like to test your balance from time to time. The goal is, to get more control over your body and over your balance. And during the 60 min training sesh, your total body will be working on these goals. You’ll get more flexible, tighter and more energetic. And that last thing, getting more energetic is just what I needed. I do this functional training at Cuerpo, once a week and try to achieve my goals by combining Cuerpo with running and other sports. The idea is to train 3 times a week. That’s the only thing that works for my body. And of course, the food.. Food is still one of the most important things. I try to eat healthy, and think about what exactly that I put in my mouth. We all want to be in the fittest shape that you can get. So hopefully I could help you motivate guys!
