Normally you would see me with a natural make-up look on my pictures, but at the Brussels fashion days I tried something really different. I call it the snake eye look. I had the opportunity to join the backstage of the fashion show, and discover the latest MAC COSMETICS beauty trends that are hot next season. We’ve already seen the contouring trend the past year, but this year will all be about the glowing trend. We are so done with this contouring stuff, and those weird Instagram contouring creations. Seriously, have you ever tried it at home? I looked liked a fool when I followed the instructions. So just leave it behind. Glowy jawlines are the new deal! How to create this make up look? Very simple, there is such thing as a glowing cream, called strobe cream by MAC. Apply it gently on your forehead, nose and cheekbones. Underneath or above your foundation, that’s totally up to you. To create a more intense version, you can always use a highlighter on top of your make up base as well. About the snake eyes, to get the intense look use a dark green or blue eye shadow to create a heavy smokey eye, and finish it with a shimmer green or blue to get that intense green look. For me these colors are perfect because I have green eyes, and as you can see it makes my green eyes even more pop. If you have blue eyes you can always leave the green colors behind and just use only light and darker blue shades. For brown eyes, you can use both. It will both look smashing! About the lips, normally you’ll think that when you already layed focus on your eyes and cheekbones that you’ll need to go for a nude color on the lips. WRONG! I tried a deep dark red lipstick, and we blended out a bit in the middle with a lighter color. So that you create a little ombre. This one was very new to me, and I can proudly say that it really looks great! Thanks MAC COSMETICS for my new look, and I’ll def give it try at home. Hope you’ll do too!
